Y’all, it’s officially the best time of the year: football season. Our favorite teams are gearing up for a great season and we’re dragging out our sweatshirts and team tees to celebrate the kickoff of crisp weather, family time, and delicious snacks. Because let’s be real, what’s a football game without something yummy to munch on?

If you’re looking for some inspiration for your next pigskin get-together, look no further. I’ve rounded up a few of my favorite football snacks for you to reference all season long right here!

This one’s kinda healthy (okay, just the apples are healthy) and hits the spot year round, but especially in the fall. Not only is it quick and easy to make, but it’s the perfect hostess treat and easily transportable for football gatherings. You’ll love the creamy consistency and rich taste as well as the opportunity for variations! I love it with some cinnamon and nutmeg added in, but the options are endless!

It’s just a happy coincidence that the colors of these brownies are our team’s colors, so it’s always an easy sell when I want to whip up a batch of these and bring them over to watch a game. They’re rich, creamy, and gorgeous, plus they’re very straightforward and simple to make. Since the recipe calls for red food coloring, you can sub in your team’s primary color to make these delicious treats specific to your favorite team!

This is my road trip go-to. Make it in advance, store it in giant mason jars, and enjoy all season long. It’s the perfect combination of sweet, salty, crunchy, chewy, crispy, and peanut-buttery. If you want to cut the sugary taste back, add more pretzels / Chex mix. If you’d like to add a dark twist, remove the Reese’s Pieces and add in dark chocolate chips. You get the idea: this is a versatile, customizable, and extremely easy to make treat the whole family will enjoy.

I fell in love with this in college each fall at the most delightful restaurant (Fulton peeps, who wants Bek’s now?) and I can’t escape the fall without craving it. This recipe isn’t for the faint of heart (or hunger), so prep this for only the hungriest bunch of people — you’ll be so happy you did! While it’s not so easy to transport as it’s best served straight out of the oven, a Crock Pot variation makes things a bit easier since you can bring it over to cook while you’re watching the game.

Is there a more quintessential dish for fall than macaroni and cheese? I think not, which is why I whip up a batch each time the temps drop. Another dish that’s best served straight out of the oven, you can’t miss while you’re entertaining friends and family if you make a batch of this! It’s got all the richness you’re hungry for and then some, and it’s simple enough that the kiddos can help you!

For those of you who kinda like coffee and kinda like tea but you’re not crazy about either one, try this recipe for cinnamon hot cocoa that will warm you up and hit your sweet tooth in a great way. This is a luscious recipe that’s sure to impress guests while you’re entertaining, but it’s also a great make-ahead item that you can transport and heat up as needed. Swap out any ingredients that don’t tickle your fancy and enjoy all fall and winter!
