I can’t wait to see these bedrooms and bathrooms completed. Our plan right now is to take one bedroom and turn it into the guest bedroom, then take the other and turn it into a study until it needs to be a nursery. With the location of the guest bath, too, we don’t need a powder room, which is such a blessing for us as we love to entertain! Take a look at the transformation of the guest bedrooms and bathroom with Sheetrock and PS — I hopped in and took pictures in the middle of texturing, so the texture will go all the way to the floor!
I can safely say I have not yet gotten tired of looking through that pretty trio of windows and I’m so excited to see this space painted. Something else I can’t wait for: the lush new carpet that will take this space from cool to cozy!
These two snapshots of the bathroom are more for documentation/our future photo albums than anything, but I thought you might like to see them pre-tile!
Here’s a close-up shot of the texture — if you haven’t built a house before, the texture is what makes the walls feel polished after they’re painted, and the process is so weird. This yellowish putty is smeared all over the walls and sanded down by hand to give you the perfect appearance in each space.
Bedroom number 2 has less natural light than bedroom one, but I’m loving the huge closet it has! More Sheetrock updates coming your way tomorrow!
