Hope your week is off to a great start! Today’s post is all about the most versatile room in our new house: the flex room. As its name implies, it’s a flexible space designed to function as an office, a play room, a media room, a library, an art studio, a man cave, a Christmas closet, or whatever else you can dream up! Since it doesn’t have a closet, it technically isn’t a bedroom, but it could definitely be used as one if you added a dresser to accommodate a wardrobe.
I have big design plans for this space since we’re planning to use it as a media room until we have kiddos, then we’ll turn it into a playroom. Anyway, here’s the progress so far!
Here’s the flex room in its wee framing stages:
It’s wired for cable in two spots, so we can put our electronics wherever we like!
This is a little bit of a strange angle because it’s inside the flex room facing into the master bedroom, but I wanted to show the space a different way!
Wait till you see this with sheetrock in place… It’s dreamy!
More room-by-room posts are coming your way this week! Follow along to stay updated, because things are moving quickly! 🙂
