This post kicks us off with granular room-by-room updates, and as I was looking through all our house pics so far, I thought the guest bedrooms (which will eventually be bedrooms for our kid(s)) and the guest bathroom would be great rooms to start off with.

Bedroom #1 is the gorgeous little room at the front of the house with a set of three windows that are to die for. It’s got more light and less closet space than bedroom two, so I’m thinking it would make a gorgeous nursery! Here’s the progress so far:

Bedroom #2 is the larger of the two and has a much bigger closet, which I think makes it an excellent choice for our guest bedroom since we can store extra seasonal items there before we have multiple kiddos. Take a look:

While this room doesn’t have as much natural light as Bedroom #1, it does still have a pretty picture window that I’m thrilled to find curtains for! The closet in Bedroom #2 is really the showstopper–it’s nearly the same size as the guest bath!

And speaking of the guest bath:

I’m so excited for our guest bath to get rolling. It’s going to have counter-height undermount sinks, which I am absolutely in love with for cleaning and aesthetic purposes, as well as a color palette that will make it feel serene and bright. Another bonus: while the toilet doesn’t have its own door, it is nestled behind the door to the bathroom, which means little ones or guests who use it won’t get surprised by a visitor. It’s the little things, people!
