HINTS & HACKS: SNACK ATTACK

Y’all, with the wild weather and unpredictable schedules this week at work, I’ve been trying to keep my head on straight and it’s all I can do not to round up a bunch of Christmas candy from our pantry for breakfast, lunch, and dinner just out of convenience. Thus, this short, salty, and sweet post is all about some snacks that keep me going!

POPCORN

This is one of my favorite snacks to grab and go for work each week because it’s easy to make in bulk, it’s inexpensive, and it can be flavored to suit your taste. I love Boom Chicka Pop’s caramel cheddar corn and Skinny Pop’s individually-sized bags are the perfect addition to your snack drawer!

BUFFALO DIP & VEGGIES

This is a spicy snack I’ve stolen from a sweet friend who shared hers with me: buffalo dip and veggies. I love this Skinny Buffalo Chicken Dip and celery for a hearty snack that will prevent your 3 p.m. slump. Looking for a vegetarian-friendly version that still packs a protein punch? Mix regular unflavored Greek yogurt and buffalo sauce to make a creamy, spicy dip that tastes just as good as its cheesy, chicken-y counterpart.

GRANOLA & GREEK YOGURT

Admittedly, this is a favorite of many folks, and for good reason; the protein in the Greek yogurt helps curb your appetite and keep you going and the granola provides a carb kick to get you through the last few hours at work. I especially love a dollop of Greek yogurt with a drizzle of agave (or honey!) and some Love Crunch chocolate strawberry granola – it’s indulgent in all the right ways!

Hope these snacks help you through your work week!
