As you may know by now, I am completely in love with decor, interior decorating, and designing polished and livable spaces for my current apartment and future abode(s). With my desire to decorate comes my desire to be inspired to keep exploring and challenging my previous aesthetics, and thus, I have stumbled upon a number of sites, apps, and articles that keep me inspired from season to season. Take a look at my top three places to gather my design and decor inspiration below!
First off, The Nest is the fabulous sister of popular sites The Knot and The Bump, which are designed to help you through your wedding and pregnancy with ease and style (Check them out!). The Nest is full of how-tos and DIYs, as well as color inspiration and every possible kind of design. You’ll love the ability to tailor the content on The Nest to suit your style and taste (or occasion), and if you want to stay up to date with the latest without having to scour the website every day, you can subscribe to have the info you’re after delivered right to your inbox! Jonathan Adler’s website is a whimsical look into his playful, cheeky, witty, and gorgeous aesthetic. If you’re looking for luxe items with a twist, Jonathan Adler is the perfect place to start. Whether you prefer vintage vibes or something way more modern, opulent hostess gifts or everyday items that will make you smile, you’ll fall in love with JA designs. My personal faves are JA’s luxurious and yummy Peace candle, which is equal parts l’objet d’art and fabulous function and this amazing chess set, which is just about the most beautiful game I’ve ever seen. If you’re ready to drool for days over crystal embellishments, cashmere throws, plush furniture, and art pieces for every nook and cranny in your house, head on over to Restoration Hardware’s website. The high-res photos alone will inspire you, but in case that’s not enough, you can search by category and pin to your heart’s desire. I especially love the Lighting section of RH, and I’m specifically dreaming about the Harlow Crystal Chandelier and picturing it perched over a sleek and beautifully-set dining table. If you’re not already exploring RH’s website, head on over now!
