Those of you who know me well understand I have a problem when it comes to bath products, and thus, why I stayed out of Lush for as long as I could because I knew it would be an addiction. Sure enough, the first time I went into the store, I had enough products to share with our whole apartment complex and still have some left over. This stuff is that good.
So today, I thought I’d take a moment and spotlight some products I think anyone would benefit from using! And if you don’t know Lush’s mission or vision, all you need to know is right here on their website.
You may think that Bath Bombs are only for kiddos who want to have fun in the bath, but I’ll stop you there – if you haven’t tried a Bath Bomb, you’re seriously missing out. One of my favorites is Phoenix Rising (pictured), which is just as yummy and wonderful for your skin as it is gorgeous. Pick up one or twenty when you venture into a Lush store – you won’t regret it. (PS – they last for a good while, smell incredible, and look lovely displayed in a pretty glass piece on your countertop!)

If you’ve already tried Bath Bombs and you’re looking for something different, say hello to Bath Melts, the Bath Bomb’s sophisticated sister. They’re great for your skin and super moisturizing, which is ideal in the cooler (read: drier) months. You’ve Been Mangoed is one of my faves for its citrusy scent and rich moisture, but there are a wide variety for you to choose from if mango isn’t your thing.

I know what you’re thinking: soap? Why such an ordinary thing? But Lush’s soaps are incredible on many levels. First, you can have a chunk customized for you in the store so you can make a sampler of all your favorites, or you can get a big hunk of the one you love most (which, if I may influence you, should be Honey I Washed the Kids, pictured above). Second, they’re so good for you with raw, natural, and vegan ingredients that will make your skin happy. And finally, there are a ton of fragrances and benefits to choose from, with everything from the playful and whimsical to yummy and perfect as a hostess gift.

Okay, I’ll admit these things are weird. They’re jiggly and sweet-smelling and certainly not your usual shower gel experience. But they’re incredibly versatile and make your morning routine a little more fun, because you can use them in their jiggly goodness, or you can chill or freeze them for an entirely new experience. I’m dying to try Sweetie Pie (pictured), and I’ve already fallen for Whoosh! If you’re not impressed with anything else on this list, give these jellies a try!

With all the holidays and parties coming up, I think it’s necessary to have a good scrub on hand for all the places that get especially dry during the colder months, and Lush has some of the best I’ve ever tried. You’ll love this Sugar Scrub (above) for its sweet smell and rich lather, but if ginger and fennel don’t tickle your fancy, there are a ton of others to try.

These are truly my kryptonite, and I can’t ever have too many masks on hand for when I need to have a mini spa night at home. Lush’s fresh, handmade masks are delicious-smelling and oh-so-good for you, plus you keep many of them in the fridge, so they’re extra refreshing. Cupcake is my top pick, but you can sample them all to find the right one for your skin’s needs.

Lush’s Lip Scrubs are seriously cult products because they are so effective and yummy. I can’t get enough of Bubble Gum, and apparently neither can many other Heartland gals, because it’s always sold out (so stock up when it’s available!). Popcorn and Mint Julips are other delicious choices that are sure to give you that kissable pout you’re looking for.
