Hints and Hacks

Color Crush: Pumpkin

With cooler weather just around the corner, it’s all I can do to keep from baking pumpkin bread and lighting all my B&BW Caramel Apple and Pumpkin Cupcake candles (truth: the scent in my car is already Pumpkin Cupcake). This being said, I’m having a blast looking for pieces we can use to decorate for fall in our apartment as well as pumpkin-colored clothing (pumpkin, not pokes!) for my closet. If you’re right there with me, then take a look at some gorgeous pieces that scream fall and make you want to order your PSL (pumpkin spice latte) ASAP.

For Your Wardrobe

I have to admit I absolutely love the rich color of these pieces. Ladies who are shy about the shade should try a pretty pumpkin bag or loafers (talk about comfortable!), and ladies who want to be a bit bolder should try the pumpkin eyeshadow and coat!

For Your Home

Pumpkin in your home decor can be playful, rich, and thrilling, especially if you’re already working with a palette of citrusy colors, blues, or other autumnal pieces. You can make a temporary commitment to pumpkin by adding a few candles or magazine bins around your home, but if you want to go big, try this sofa, a few pieces of art, or bright shag pillows.

What do you think about pumpkin?

  1. Well…you’ve done it! You’ve pushed me over the edge…. I’m going to make Taco Soup and Pumpkin Bread for you and Jordan tomorrow. I just returned from grocery shopping, and I have everything I need…and I’m hoping Aunt Donna’s recipe works it’s charm! Beautiful blog today and always. xoxo Grammy Divaβ˜•οΈπŸ΄πŸ΅πŸŽƒ
