This late spring and early summer has already been unlike the rest: instead of breezy, sunny afternoons that make you want to be by a pool somewhere, we’ve had tornadoes, flash floods, earthquakes, and let’s not forget the tigernado that occurred a little while back. This being said, this weather has primed me for a different kind of summer and has made me refocus on some things I don’t normally spend time on in the summer: charity work.

Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma
Donate to a worthwhile and crucial cause: fighting hunger and providing opportunities for better health and nutrition locally. There are a ton of different programs and varying commitment levels, so you’re sure to find a way to give your time and / or resources.
