Monday Motivation – April 27th, 2015

This week promises dreary, rainy, and cool weather sure to make us all nod off at our desks instead of blazing through our weekly tasks. Weeks like these mean that no amount of coffee / soda / energy drink will get you jazzed about work because you’d rather be in your sweats with Netflix on.

Have no fear, though, because in your spare time, when you need a handful of tips, or when you really want to get fired up about the week, you can turn to Lynda.com for tips, tricks, and tutorials on anything. (Seriously.)

Here are a few e-courses I recommend for enhancing your productivity at work!

10 Apps for Enhanced Productivity

This course keeps it short and sweet so you can move swiftly through your day with the help of a few handy apps. If you choose to do nothing else toward your productivity this week, watch a few videos in this course, download the apps you can use, and integrate a few into your schedule. You’ll be surprised how much more you get done with just a few extra apps!

Managing To-Do Lists

Sometimes even your to-do lists aren’t productive because they’re miles long and you wonder how to get it all done. This course on Managing To-Do Lists is sure to help you find the best way to cross off everything on your list, whether you keep it on your phone, your computer, or just a legal pad in front of you.

Going Paperless

This may be the most daunting productivity tip of all, but going paperless can revolutionize the way you work. Pick a few tips to try or go all-out with the whole course – you won’t regret not having to keep stacks of paperwork organized in your desk, in filing cabinets, or on your desktop.

iPad for Business

I love this course because it shows you how to maximize your productivity with something you probably just use for entertainment: your iPad. Another wonderful aspect of this course is the fact that it translates well to iPhone and Android, so if you’d rather use these tips for your phone, you can.

Getting Things Done

Last but not least, take a look at Getting Things Done. It’s simple, straightforward, and a wonderful addition to your productivity arsenal. Who doesn’t want to get everything on their tasks lists completed with ease, right?

Motivational Quote of the Week

“Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time.” {Thomas Edison}
